9. Paul Williams (36-1, 27 KOs) – Williams jumps up one spot this month due to the demotions of Margarito and Cotto. The Punisher is moving around in various weight classes to look for a credible opponent and he may very well get one in April. As of this week, he's tentatively scheduled for an April 11 showdown with former junior middleweight champ Winky Wright at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles. The fight isn't yet official so it can certainly change but if it comes to pass, Williams will have his hands full with one of the most defensively affective fighter of this era. Williams of course would have loved to get another crack at Margarito but with his loss to Mosley in the books, that fight no longer seems as much of a treat as it was before. Perhaps that can change in time.
